On our last night in Michigan, we took one final walk down the boardwalk to the beach. I got a little camera happy because the golden hour light was phenomenal.
My brother and I topped off the trip by taking an impromptu midnight bike ride to the pier for a little night photography. We set up the camera on a clamp, cranked down the shutter speed, and whipped out some external lights. I think we were both in nerdy photography heaven as we took turns running around the lighthouse, painting with light. We were lucky enough to catch a clear sky full of stars and the moon setting in the background.
