Christmas Eve

We hit up our favorite indoor swimming pool at the Kamas rec center on Christmas Eve.

Back at the cabin, the kids were super entertained with their holiday specs while the adults worked on Christmas Eve dinner.

The glasses transformed the lights on the tree into magical images and it was so much fun for everyone to trade specs and see all the different shapes.

It’s hard to impress Finn when his thumb and nie-night are around to compete.

The boys filled up on hot chocolate after our fancy dinner and Nativity reenactment (which somehow went unpictured). Grandma set out a hot chocolate bar for the kids to customize their toppings all week and they thought it was the best thing ever.

Nash and his cousin Saphera got busy writing Santa a note.

Our little family of six snuck downstairs for my favorite part of Christmas Eve, the brother gift exchange. The excitement of giving paired with the genuine embraces just can’t be topped.

Then it was off to bed with hopes that Santa would find us at the cabin.
