February Little Things

February began with the 100th day of school, where Crew dressed like he was 100 years old.

He made a collection of 100 pom pom balls.

Blake participated in an interactive Walk Through the American Revolution.

We did a few Disney days.

Love that uncle photobomb.

Crew and Finn found a new way to ride in the shopping cart.

I helped with Valentine’s Day parties at school.

The boys unloaded their loot.

It was Blake’s last year for school Valentines, which made the trading picks that much more crucial.

We made our heart-shaped pizzas…

…to go along with our “fancy” Valentine’s Day red and white dinner.

The boys switched around the letters on my board that originally said, “When you focus on the good, the good gets better.”

One Pluto wasn’t enough for Crew…

While we loved having grass in our backyard, it turned into a total swampland most of the year and was completely unusable. The water just sat on that clay soil.

So, we ripped it out and replaced it with turf. The boys loved watching the process.

Crew and I have had a special song as long as I can remember.

Spring sprung and the hills were extra green from all the rain we had. I started training to run a Ragnar race and the lush green made it so much more enjoyable.

No month would be complete without some trips to the beach; our happy place.
