This year’s card went down as one of my favorites. When December rolled around, I didn’t have a traditional family photo to use for Christmas cards. So, I decided to reinvent the wheel – literally! I had it in my mind that it needed to be a spinning card and somehow I made it happen. It was a bonus that I got to tie up my boys in Christmas lights!
It took about ten minutes to snap photos of the boys, and a whole lot longer to design the card, find a local printer, program my Silhouette to cut out each outline individually, replace the blade a few times and assemble the cards. It was a labor of love, but I’m not known for going the simple route once an idea is planted in my head!
